    Five significant ways to keep your smile healthy

    Your smile is one of those things that attract people’s attention. Also, you have to maintain your healthy gums and teeth as it’s an essential part of your health and well-being. But you may need some refresh about your dental hygiene if you are afraid to flash these pearl whites.

    So, to keep your smile healthy, your teeth need delicate, careful, and daily maintenance. You have to do more to maintain healthy teeth. In this article, you can know the five significant ways to keep your smile healthy.

    Five ways to maintain a healthy smile

    1. Properly brush your teeth

    Yeah, there have some proper way to brush your teeth, and these are-

    • At a 45-degree angle, place the bristles to your gum line when brushing.
    • Along with the chewing surface, brush both sides of our teeth.
    • Brush your tongue and hard palate gently after brushing your teeth.
    • At least twice a day, brush your teeth, especially after eating.

    Every three or four months, you should replace your toothbrush.

    2. Floss regularly

    Though brushing is a great cleaning process of your teeth surface, it can’t reach in between your teeth. Consequently, bacteria can easily harm your teeth because of stored food residue. So, there is only one solution is that floss your teeth daily. It can remove food residue from between your teeth.

    3. Rinse with mouthwash before bed

    To make your breathing smell fresh, and protect your gums and teeth by killing bacteria, use mouthwash daily. For best results, rinse for 30 – 60 seconds at least once a day, especially before going to bed.

    4. Eat healthy food

    Eat healthy and tooth-friendly foods, including vegetables, fruits, whole grains, cheese, and nuts. Avoid alcoholic beverages and sugary soft drinks, or wash your mouth instantly after taking those things.

    5. See your dentist

    See your dentist for dental checkups and cleanings every six months.
