    JamesBy JamesDecember 26, 2021No Comments3 Mins Read

There is a massive auction going on to decide the Indian Premier League 2021 winner. While the tournament was scheduled to start in India, it was moved to the UAE in the last season, leaving more than half the tournament to be played in the UAE. The early termination of the tournament means that the winner of the Indian Premier League 2020 cannot be decided on the basis of its league stage performance. However, the BCCI has said that the remaining matches will be played in the compressed window of the next season.

    IPL award

The BCCI recently cut the prize money awarded to the IPL winner from Rs. 20 crore in 2019 to Rs. 12.5 crore for the runner-up. In 2020, the winner received Rs. 10 crore, while the runner-up got Rs. 6.25 crore. The IPL 2021 BCCI has kept the prize money the same, but has cut the prizes of the playoff teams from INR 5.75 crore each to INR 4.375 crore.

The prize money for the IPL winner has been reduced by the BCCI since last year. The winners in the current season will get Rs. 20 crore, while the runners-up will receive Rs. 6.25 crore. The winner in the IPL 2020 will receive the same amount as the previous two years. The winning team in the tournament will be awarded INR 4.375 crores each. The losing team in the final will receive INR 4.375 crore.

Top four teams from the 2021

The top four teams from the 2021 IPL will advance to the playoffs. Chennai super kings won the last three IPLs, while Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders are still waiting for their first trophy. So, it is important to predict the winner of the IPL 2021 before the tournament begins. The winner of this year’s tournament will be crowned the IPL champion. It is the fourth season of the IPL, and KKR has won the title twice.

Winning team & losing team Prize amount

In the IPL, the winning team will receive a total of Rs. 20 crore, while the runners-up will get INR.10. The losing team will receive INR.4375 crore for the tournament. The entire prize money for the IPL winner is determined by the runner-up. In the case of the winner, the runner-up will be the team that finished second. The playoff teams will also get INR4.375 crores each.

Chennai super kings won the IPL 2021 by 27 runs over Kolkata Knight Riders. The match was played in Dubai and Ruturaj Gaikwad became the youngest orange cup winner in IPL history. This is the fourth season of the IPL and the fourth year of the tournament. The winners will receive INR10.275 crore for winning the tournament. If they win the tournament, they will be the IPL champions.
