    How to know that you have a kidney stone

    If many minerals in your body accumulate in your urine, it can form Kidney stones. With higher levels of certain minerals, your urine becomes more concentrated when you are not well-hydrated. And this can cause kidney stones. Some kidney stones will be so big that it can take over your whole kidney.

    But how to know that you have a kidney stone? Kidney stones are common in men, obese people, and those with diabetes. This health issue is usually very stinging. However, here are some prominent symptoms of kidney stones. Through these symptoms, you will ensure that you have kidney stones, and you need to see your doctor immediately.

    Symptoms

    If you have a small kidney stone, you often may not see any symptoms. Cause, through your urinary tract, a kidney stone can move easily. Maybe you won’t know that you had kidney stones.

    You may notice any of the following symptoms if you have large kidney stones.

    Blood in your urine

    Blood in your urine is a common symptom of kidney stone, and it’s called hematuria. The blood can be brown, pink, or red. Sometimes without a microscope, you can’t see blood cells as these are too small. But the doctor can taste for these symptoms.

    Sharp pain in your back or lower abdomen

    Generally, when a stone moves into the narrow ureter, the pain starts, and this pain is called renal colic. Often kidney pain begins suddenly. You will feel pain in the bottom of your ribs, your side, and back. As the stone descends into your urethra, it can spread to your abdomen and groin area.

    Pain and burning while urinating

    You will start to feel your pain during urination when the stone reaches the joint between the bladder and the ureter. The pain may feel intense or burning.

    These are the prominent and critical symptoms of kidney stones. Moreover, you may have complications like vomiting, nausea, fever, or chills with the pain. So, if you see any of these, then seek immediate medical attention.
